In the world of laundry detergents, it's hard to find a product that stands out. The containers are often bulky, the scents can be overpowering, and the ingredients can be harsh and harmful. But amidst this sea of mediocrity, one brand has managed to shine through: Buff City Soap, my favorite laundry detergent.

Why I Love Buff City Soaps

There are so many reasons why Buff City Soap is my favorite laundry detergent. For starters, it's very effective at cleaning clothes. A small amount goes a long way and it doesn't leave any residue behind. They even have an adorable wooden scooper that you can purchase to make sure you have the correct amount in the washer. Additionally, it contains natural ingredients that are safe for the environment and for the skin. We have allergies in our family and even the best rated detergents were still causing reactions. Since we switched to Buff City Soap detergent though, we have not had a single reaction!

Another feature that sets Buff City Soap apart is its container. Unlike most laundry detergents that come in big, bulky containers, Buff City Soap is packaged in small, recyclable containers. This not only reduces waste but also makes it more convenient to store and use. If you bring back the container, you even get a dollar off your next refill of detergent!

The Smell

My favorite part about Buff City Soap detergent though is the smell. They have fresh, clean scents that are not too overpowering. They leave your clothes smelling fresh and clean without any artificial fragrances. They’re the kind of scents that you can't help but take a deep breath of every time you open the container or pull the clothes out of the washer.

What's even better is that the scents lasts. Your clothes will keep this fresh, clean scent even after they've been sitting in your closet for a while. One time my husband even starting getting comments at work about how nice his new “cologne” smelled, and it was really just the laundry detergent!

The two scents we typically purchase are the Commando which has a more masculine smell, and the White Jasmine which is more floral and romantic smelling. You can also purchase the “plus” version which includes baking powder for an even better clean. We the hand soaps in the same scents as well! Their most popular scent is Narcissist, which is also smells amazing and is a great scent to start out with.

Buff City Soap has managed to take the tedious task of doing laundry and turn it into something enjoyable. With its effective cleaning power, eco-friendly ingredients and packaging, and wonderful scent, it's no wonder it's my favorite laundry detergent. Give it a try and you might just find your new favorite too.
