Santa Fe First Build - Living Room and Kitchen

The design of the Santa Fe First Build was inspired by the idea of a place you could retreat and relax with family. This idea influenced the open concept design, modern finishes, and fresh organic color palette. Just outside the front windows is a fantastic view of a pond that really makes you feel like you’re escaping from everyday life. We maximized this view throughout the home by putting windows in each front facing room of the home.

One of my favorite parts of this kitchen is the service pantry. Even though it’s tucked away in the corner of the kitchen, it really feels like it’s own space. We also brought the light wood tones into the pantry through the maple shelving to continue the organic feel. The window brings in natural light with a gorgeous view as well.

On either side of the fireplace are cabinets and drawers which provide plenty of storage space. We decided to continue the maple into the living room through the shelves here as well. The fireplace surround is the same quartz that is used throughout the rest of the home. I love the way the quartz and maple work together emphasize the modern and organic vibe throughout the home.
