Transitional Remodel - Laundry and Study

The goal of this laundry room was to create a space that made the process of doing laundry easier while also opening up the room and making it feel more romantic. By elevating the washer and dryer, we were able to add drawers underneath for laundry baskets which makes doing laundry more efficient. We also took away the upper cabinets on the back wall and added drawers for more accessible storage.

The vertical lines of the wall treatment bring your eyes up and make the room feel larger and more open, while also leading your eyes to the light wood drying rack that is beautiful yet incredibly functional. Finally, the tile, light fixture, and hardware all work together to bring a romantic feel to this gorgeous laundry room.

In this study, we wanted to freshen up the room and create a space that you wanted to work in. We painted the dark wood built-ins in a soft black color for a more masculine and modern look and added gold fixtures and light wood accents throughout the room to pop against the dark paint.
